HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Dear Parents:

November is an exciting month as we are reminded of how good our God has been to us.

NOVEMBER 10 is PICTURE DAY! Please bring your child in by 9:00am dressed in their best outfit. You are asked to return the completed envelope with your payment on the same day the picture is taken.

Our annual THANKSGIVING FEAST is planned for Tuesday, November 25 at 11:00am. All parents are invited to invited to come join us at this special day of feasting and giving thanks. Of course, we will need your help with providing your best dish for all of us to enjoy. Please see your child's teacher for a list of the items needed.

As in the past, I expect we will have a blessed time and we hope that you will be able to share it with us.

Statement of Purpose

Living Word CHILD CARE CENTER is an outreach ministry of Living Word Christian Fellowship whose goal is to 'Unite People to People and People to God.'

Our goal is to develop and nurture your child’s self-concept and stimulate his/her emotional, social, physical and intellectual growth, by providing him/her with the opportunities to explore the world around him through individual and group activities.

General Information

Living Word Child Care Center is a privately ran state licensed Center, which provides full-day, part-time, and extended care services for school age, preschoolers, toddlers and infants. The Center is open Monday through Friday, all year round, from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. The daily schedule includes an educational program appropriate for the needs, abilities and levels of development of each child.

Christian Education

The basis of Christian education is that God must be an integral part of the educational process. “The reverence of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” (Proverbs 1:7)

Therefore, at each level of development at Living Word Christian Academy and CHILD CARE CENTER, our Bible curriculum strives to make Jesus a viable person to the child. We teach that Jesus loves and cares for each individual child and that he is concerned with our daily problems and joys. Our stories come directly from the Bible or are based on Biblical themes. Daily Bible Story time with prayer and singing are an integral part of our curriculum. Children of all denominations are welcome.
